What’s in a name? – the race to name the 2018 Formula One car
Racing car green is about to get a name.
It’s going to be the green car of the 2020s.
And there’s no way the name is not going to change the way the car is raced.
For many years, the only way to make a name for a new racing car was to go for a name that was already popular in some part of the world.
But with the advent of Formula One cars and the rise of the internet, that was no longer an option.
That’s why Formula One racing cars and fans have been so obsessed with the brand names they’ve been given, even if it means that some fans might not know what they’re talking about.
And that’s where the name Midget car comes in.
Midget Racing was founded in 2000 by Mark Wilson and Mark Dolan to try and bring some consistency to the sport, with a focus on cars with similar styling and performance characteristics.
The car was based on a Nissan Skyline GT-R and was designed by British engineering company Diamant and engineered by the British company Daimler.
Diamants’ design language and engineering know-how has been applied to cars in many other areas, from racing cars to electric and hybrid vehicles.
So it’s no surprise that it’s been an instant success.
Midgets have won six grand prix since the beginning of the new millennium, with the most recent victory coming at the 2011 French Grand Prix, when the car finished second in a time of 3.8 seconds.
“We are not trying to build a new brand, we’re trying to make it more recognizable, more recognisable in some ways,” Wilson told Speedcafe.com.
“It’s a great opportunity for us to create something new.”
The Midgets car was designed to be a racing car, and it has been since it was first used in the 2003 season.
Wilson says that since then, Midgets has won seven of the last nine races, and is currently in second place in the drivers’ championship.
Wilson thinks that the name will help bring some stability to the cars, and that the Midgets name will hopefully help people make a decision to buy a Midget in the future.
“If you can’t identify the brand with a single name, the brand has a lot to offer.
And I think the Midget name has a certain amount of longevity that we think will hopefully bring it into some wider mainstream use,” Wilson said.
But the name has also sparked controversy among fans of other sports, including Formula One, and with good reason.
The FIA recently proposed a rule change that would make it a mandatory requirement to name cars after a sport, whether it be a sporting event, or a particular person.
The change, which would make cars named after people in sport be banned, would mean that Formula One drivers would have to change their names to something that was more appropriate to their sport.
Wilson said that the new name Midgets would help to bring more consistency to Formula One.
“The name Midlets is not a very well known brand,” Wilson explained.
“So it will help to have more consistency in the sport.”
In the meantime, Wilson says he’s not worried about changing the name to anything else.
“No, not at all,” Wilson says.
“I think it will be a fantastic name for Midgets.”
The new name will be unveiled at the FIA World Endurance Championship season opener on April 17, and Wilson said he is confident that the brand will continue to grow.
“There’s a lot of hype around this brand name, but I think this is a fantastic opportunity for this brand to make some noise and show the world that this is something special,” Wilson continued.
